Idaho Gives Week helps contribute to local nonprofits

Idaho Gives Week began on Monday. This event encourages Idahoans to contribute to local nonprofits that help the less fortunate.

Twin Falls Mayor Ruth Pierce issued a proclamation for Idaho Gives Week at Monday’s city council meeting, urging Idahoans to help those causes.

Pierce said Idaho Gives has raised $27 million in the 11 years since it was founded. Those dollars make a difference for many local nonprofits.
