PROVIDING THE ESSENTIALS
The City of Rupert Water Dept. pumps and distributes more than 450 million gallons of drinking water per year. Rupert's source of this water is the Eastern Snake Plains Aquifer, which is one of the largest in the United States. is high quality groundwater requires minimum treatment and is distributed to the customer through a system of mainlines totaling approximately 35 miles. Our staff of six, with four being State Certified Water Operators, is available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year to respond to your water related needs. Well rounded seasonal year Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. All in their right place on
the calendar.Our agricultural communities can count on a full
growing season for their crops. Our visitors and residents can
count on all four seasons of fun. Whether you climb our renowned
City of Rocks National Park during the summer, ski the excellent
powder of Pomerelle in the winter, fish our great lakes and rivers
in the spring, or hunt our national reserves in the fall. We
are proud to have all four seasons of activities available. Not
to mention, Snow means Water.
