ABOUT US
Rupert is located within the Snake
River Plain, which was created by the hot spot that now lies
under Yellowstone National Park. Even today, you can view lava
rock while venturing around Rupert. The Snake River Aquifer
is the main source of water and is depleting at a rapid rate
throughout the summer, but returned to a stable state with
the river flow and precipitation from the Sawtooth Mountains. Located in Minidoka County The city of Rupert, is three miles north off Interstate Highway
84, between Twin Falls and Pocatello. Rupert, a Gem City, is officially
named "Christmas City, USA" and bears the titles of Tree
City, USA, Idaho Heritage City, and is deeply involved in the restoration
of the beautiful and historic Wilson Theater located on the Square
Park street corner . The City of Rupert has a wonderfully well rounded seasonal year. Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. All in their right place on the calendar. Our agricultural communities can usuallycount on a full growing season for their crops. Everyone can count on all four seasons of fun. Whether you climb our renowned City of Rocks National Park during the summer, ski the excellent powder of Pomerelle in the winter, fish the incredible lakes and rivers in the spring, or hunt national reserves in the fall. We are proud to have all four seasons of activities available.
